Introducing: How to share job-posts to 3rd party sites

May 22, 2020

Various networks also run and manage their own job-boards, e.g. StackOverflow for developers, Dribble for designers and many top universities for their students.

On top of this, people now expect employers (and employees of those employers) to share news on if they are hiring on their online social network channels, Linkedin and naturally, their own website.

We decided to focus on making this easy for employers and save huge amounts of time in rebuilding and reposting job-ads and giving clarity in what works (and what doesn’t).

Now live: Integration with 3rd party job-boards with a click of a button

With 50skills, you can now share your job-posts to integrated 3rd party job-boards with only a few clicks.

  1. Add the job-boards you want your postings to go to
  2. Click Promote on the job post you want to republish
  3. Select the job-board you want to post to
  4. Add variables required for that job-board (e.g. job-type, skills & category which varies between job-boards)

3. Select the job-board you want to post to

4. Add variables required for that job-board (e.g. job-type, skills & category which varies between job-boards)

All the content from your 50skills job-post will be duplicated into the job-board post you are reposting to. You choose which language of your posting is sent to your job-board of choosing and add any additional information they might require, such as a job-category according to their unique categorization tree.

What about paid job-boards?

Some job-boards require payments for their postings. When this is the case we will inform you before posting if you will receive an extra charge on it in your next invoice, or if you are required to pay for it directly when posting. For free job-boards you can post directly to their sites as long as the partnering job-board guidelines are followed (e.g. some universities only allow research based jobs, tech-boards tech-related jobs etc.)

What if a job-board I want to use isn’t there?

Don’t worry. Just submit your request for a new job-board and our team will get on it. In the meanwhile, just copy your job link, submit manually to the job-board you want and 50skills will automatically track how many applicants are coming from that job-board until we have finished setting up the integrations you need. Here are a few popular tutorials on reposting to Indeed, ZipRecruiter , and Craigslist.

What about custom integrations? My team has an intranet, and we advertise in local industry mediums very few know about

This is actually quite common. Contact your customer success manager, let him know what you want to do and he will let you know what options there are.

I represent a job-board – we would love to look into partnering. What happens next?

Great! Fill out our partnership request form and our team will get back to you on next steps.

Tracking what works
