What are actions?

These are the activities that you can organize into a process to execute the perfect employee onboarding, crossboarding or offboarding process (see What are journeys). There are many different action types that can be executed manually or automatically, such as sending e-mails/SMS, sending input forms to the new hire, scheduling reminders and so on.

What are journeys?

They are the process templates used to manage and automate the onboarding, offboarding, and crossboarding processes of employees in the platform. Journeys can be created from scratch or imported as templates. They can also be duplicated and altered to create multiple different journeys for different contexts and scopes.

How is 50skills different to other platforms with "employee onboarding"?

Many HR system providers will have an employee onboarding module which are essentially a glorified checklist - each item on those list can contain multiple tasks and inevitable back and forth communication. Our approach to the HR processes like employee onboarding, crossboarding and offboarding is to provide you with the ultimate tool to manage them and execute them efficiently and automatically.

I applied for a job labeled as 50skills and I'm a bit confused. Can you clarify?

Of course! In this instance, you likely applied for a job through one of our customer's career sites. Our 50hire product provides customers with a hiring system that allows them to create and post jobs on their own career sites, which may include the name 50skills. However, these career sites are entirely managed by our customers.

To inquire about the status of a job opportunity you applied for, we recommend reaching out directly to the company in question.

How can I access my employee journey onboarding materials?

During onboarding, crossboarding, or offboarding processes, you may receive notifications via email, text, or through platforms used by the company (e.g., Slack, Workplace, or others). If you believe you should have received a message or if something is not functioning as expected, please contact your employer for assistance.

Can 50skills integrate with our existing systems?

Within our Journeys feature, we offer an Integration Builder that allows customers to create seamless connections with third-party applications. This is possible as long as the third-party app has an API that is compatible with our platform. If you have any questions about a specific integration or need assistance in setting one up, our team is readily available to support you.

What is 50skills cancellation and refund policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you decide to cancel, please understand we're unable to provide prorated refunds. You will have access to your account until the end of the billing period and will not be charged at the start of the next one.‍

What is 50hire?

50hire, often referred to as Hire by 50skills, is a product that the 50skills team has developed. It used to be branded as "50skills" - but was in April 2023 rebranded as 50hire. It has it's own website www.50hire.com

What are the main features of 50skills?

50skills is a powerful HR workflow manager that you can use to manage and automate the HR processes and work seamlessly with other HR systems in your system landscape. It has-built in form and contract builder and action blocks that can be automated to send e-mails/SMS or move data into system that you use.

What are the main benefits of using 50skills?

50skills provides two main advantages: 1. It allows for streamlined processes and cost savings through automation. 2. It enhances the experience of employees and other stakeholders. By streamlining processes like onboarding, crossboarding and offboarding, 50skills makes life easier for everyone involved and frees up time and energy for other employee experience-boosting tasks. Our library of templates provides lots of ideas for improving the employee experience, which can be taken directly from the library and incorporated into your account.

How do you utilize smart data mapping in 50skills?

Data points can be automatically collected in the HR process and mapped to be used in other actions in the same process. For example, you can start the employee onboarding process by sending automatically an SMS to the new hire with a link to an input form where the new hire will add their personal details. Once that form is submitted, the data will flow automatically to other actions that you've created in the same process, like into the contract template that will then be sent automatically for e-signing or into the automatic e-mail to facility management to arrange for building security access and so on.

Why did we create 50skills?

From our experience with 50hire (www.50hire.com is our ATS - Applicant-tracking-system) we learned that the employee onboarding process is commonly quite complex and resource draining, especially in organization that have a high employee turnover. We created few addons to our ATS to streamline this process that were a huge success! So a decision was made to expand on this capability in a separate product, 50skills, and solve the challenges that companies have with any employee change process (onboarding, crossboarding, offboarding and more).

Yes, 50skills is fully GDPR compliant, and we're committed to protecting your privacy rights. Our hosting infrastructure is in Europe and our product is built with privacy in mind.
